OPERATIONS/STUDIO MANAGER

We’re looking for a talented person to run operations at our new 7,500 studio in Montclair, NJ. Part corporate event space, wellness center, innovation lab, and production hub. Get in on the ground floor of this new sustainable and purpose-driven space that will expand to a national footprint. We’re looking for a high-energy-do-everything operations maven that wants to build something exciting with our creative, passionate team. You will specialize in tackling various challenges and getting stuff done. The right candidate will want to be part of a movement that changes how businesses and people share information and connect. Production experience and connections are a plus.

*This is a full-time on-site job.

You will help shape the role, but some of your responsibilities include:


Responsibilities

  • Organizing company infrastructure, partners and
    expanding list of vendors.

  • Liaison with a network of prop houses, rentals and crew talent.

  • Ability to build efficient crews for production jobs and events.

  • Liaison with clients on a day-to-day basis and showcase studios and production company.

  • Implement industry outreach and marketing to build business.

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple companies.

  • Self-starter always thinking about problem-solving.

  • Gatekeeper and filter for vendors, clients and employees.

  • Project management skills across a variety of tasks.

  • Supporting the production, creative, and account teams on special projects as they arise.

  • Maintaining comprehensive status reports, documents,
    and reports.

  • Administrative duties including organizing meetings, event curation, team deadlines, construction deadlines, etc.

A plus if you can:

  • Technical knowledge about film production equipment.

  • Well versed in both film, digital video and photography estimates.

  • Experience with Talent contracts and casting process.
