PAID SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

You’ll own the paid media strategy, work alongside our creative, PR, and account teams to ensure content and placement reach the intended audience. *This is a hybrid position: on-site in our COVID-safe Montclair office.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Media Director, this role will lead partnerships with all major Social Media platforms including Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, as well as emerging platforms.
Develop paid social media recommendations inclusive of audience assessment, channel evaluation, rationale, prepared with the ability to present and support your ideas to the client and internal teams
Own and operate the set-up, the process, the outcome, in platform, and to the client; delivering business objectives and measurable outcomes
Develop optimal funnel mixes within each social platform
Oversee CRM activations within social channels
Partner with Organic Social and Creative teams for integrated campaigns and best practices, along with unified reporting
Institute testing roadmap within platforms
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of evolving social media landscape
Help to continually evolve the agency tech stack to ensure campaign and clients’ needs are exceeded.
Produce clear monthly performance reports, inclusive of KPI delivery, analytics, optimization, and measurement strategy adherence
Be able to forge and foster agency network and external partner relationships to drive our client’s business forward
Have a strong grasp of the media landscape and be able to recommend sound strategies to deliver optimal social recommendations
Keep current with industry news, social trends, platforms, and experiences that can inform the Brand’s activation planning and drive innovation and performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years with “hands-on keys” activation experience with a media, marketing, or full-service agency
Understand how to research and craft audiences within Social platforms for each objective and craft a measurable digital social plan
Comfortable constructing RFPs to a channel or audience partner
Able to communicate details and trends in written and verbal settings to internal brand teams and our clients, effectively
Responsible for the campaign set up in platform, QA, and launch
Utilize best practice naming structures within approved measurement strategy for clear reporting and deliverables.
Oversee trafficking and site tagging, to ensure campaigns are tracking properly
Monitor pacing and performance of client's media campaign across all social platforms
Ability to pivot to client's needs while managing over-arching projects/deadlines, daily
Train team members as we grow to ensure success throughout the agency
Produce, manage, deliver all client reports and track weekly optimizations
Experience working in Social Business manager required
Strong understanding of all media channels with the ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders
This candidate will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, service-oriented, collaborative, flexible, work under pressure, adapts easily to change, problem-solving ability, creative thinking, a commitment to innovation, yet also have fun, and a can-do attitude
Technical Proficiency with Google sheets; slides and Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint
Additional skills considered advantageous but not required: Social platform certifications, Adwords experience, programmatic experience, cross-platform reporting implementation
